MISHO X Ashiesh Shah
Geometry, clean lines and synchrony form the tenets of the MISHO X Ashiesh Shah collaboration. The limited-edition piece sees Shah’s iconic ‘Moonshadow’ vase find a new scale as a talismanic pendant. Handcrafted in MISHO's Mumbai studio in gold plated bronze and sterling silver the miniature sculpture is an amalgamation of the duo’s shared passion for pieces that embody architecture. Form and function meet in the design object that has the ability to house a handpicked twig in its hollows or sit along a knotted leather thread around the neck, an hommage to the late Elsa Peretti.
This collaboration was a long time coming; Parekh, creative director of MISHO worked in the atelier of Ashiesh Shah in 2013-2016. MISHO X Ashiesh Shah marks a complete circle of the mentor-protégé relationship, perfectly personified by an object that imbibes from its parent form.
