Taking the form of sword as a point of departure the collection also taps into India's heritage of the curved dagger, 'Khanjar'. These ancient daggers were often crafted in silver or gold and finished with pearls and precious stones, the daggers thus assumed a dual function that of a piece of jewellery and protection. The collection also references the symbols and elements that often made their way into weapons in the Indian subcontinent, for instance the lion.
